Italy - Florence - Seasons
Summer activities in Florence

During the good weather you can attend cultural events, concerts and performances spread throughout the city.

Between June and September, the city gives residents and visitors a rich and varied calendar of events ranging from music to theater, from dance to cinema.
Alongside the best-known venues, summer is also an opportunity to discover new and unusual spaces, which are opened from time to time, set up, and re-thought in an artistic key, to be experienced by day and by night.

The Anconella Park is located in the Eastern part of Florence, on the left bank of the Arno, and is one of the green lungs of the city.
The area reserved for children's games is perhaps one of the best equipped, but in the summer there is no shortage of attractions reserved for adults as well.
In fact, during the good weather, you can have an excellent cocktail at the bar and attend cultural programming that ranges from art to music to social theater and book presentations to debates of current interest with many guests.
There is no shortage of concerts and DJ sets.

The Rose Garden is located just below Piazzale Michelangelo and it is a magical place enriched by the beautiful works by Folon: between nature, poetry, and events suitable for a diverse audience offers, in the summer, book presentations, concerts, performances, and art installations that blend well with the artistic-naturalistic context.

With the participation of the orchestra Toscana Classica, the concerts have the dual aim of engaging the vast audience of the Florentine squares - through a wide variety of musical genres - and stimulating interest in art.
The churchyards involved are those of the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, Santo Spirito, Piazza Santa Croce, Duomo and many others.
